Award-winning Wid Chapman Architects specializes in commercial and residential projects worldwide. Their work has been featured in Hospitality Design, Interior Design, Boutique Design, International Design (I.D.), Contract Magazine, Crain's New York Business, Wall Street Journal, Interiors India, Figaro Japan, New York Magazine, Shotenkenchiku and New York's WABC TV. Project locations include: New York, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Florida, Colorado, California, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Korea and Malaysia. Their design for three Elixir juice bars in New York won an I.D. Magazine design award in 2000.
WCA is headed by Wid Chapman, AIA, who received his architectural training at Rhode Island School of Design. Wid is currently a Senior Faculty member at the Parsons School of Design in New York and is a former Department Chair of Interior Design. He has guest lectured within the U.S. and internationally in Paris, Singapore, Malaysia, Brazil, India and the Dominican Republic. He is co-author of the book, Home Design in an Aging World (Fairchild) and the forthcoming, Unassisted Living (Random House)
