<image:caption>FIDI, NEW YORK, NY | 3000 SQ. FT. We’ve collaborated with Educational Housing Services on several student commons spaces, each designed to foster community and comfort. This latest project is located in the Wall Street neighborhood of Manhattan, within the lobby of a high-rise dormitory building. The renovation focused on reimagining the entry sequence and reclaiming underutilized space. By relocating the security turnstiles to align with a newly positioned security desk, we were able to significantly expand the area available for student lounging and studying. The redesigned space features abundant greenery, warm ambient lighting, and a soft ceiling canopy that lowers the perceived scale of the lobby, creating a more intimate and inviting atmosphere. Together, these elements establish a relaxed, residential feel—providing students with a calm retreat amid the city’s energy.</image:caption>

<image:caption>NEW YORK, NY. | 5,000 SQ. FT. Wedding Atelier is a bridal boutique located on Madison Avenue in Manhattan. The program required a variety of areas where brides and their families could gather comfortably and view dresses. The design needed to convey a strong sense of elegance while remaining tailored and refined, allowing the gowns to shine.</image:caption>

<image:title>Retailing - Le Café Coffee</image:title>
<image:caption>NEW YORK, NY, | SQ. FT. | In 2010, our firm was commissioned to create branding for a French start-up, Le Café, and we have designed ten stores in New York City to date. Each iteration presented a fresh opportunity to evaluate the brand’s evolving identity and to incorporate refinements. The latest location, on Manhattan’s Eighth Avenue just off Columbus Circle, is the most high-profile venue to date, reflecting the most extensive update to the brand environment. Walls are capped with a sweeping curve, ending at an integrated cubby display band around the space, and a separate compact French retail area completes the design.</image:caption>

<image:caption>NEW YORK, NY | SQ. FT. | “Like no other bagel in the world,” H&H Bagels has been an iconic destination on New York City’s Upper West Side for fifty years. In 2021, our firm was hired to lead the brand into its next iteration, upgrading the original store’s visual environment, brand identity, and customer experience, and translating this for an upscale store in the new Moynihan Train Hall. It was one of the first shops to open in this vital urban space. These projects led to a wider partnership with H&H as it seeks to expand exponentially, and we are working on a comprehensive franchise design model for the company.</image:caption>
